Your patients needn’t wait until the residual limb is “stabilized” in volume to begin prosthetic rehabilitation and gait training.
As soon as the surgical wounds are sufficiently healed, they can be fit with an adjustable, immediate-fit prosthesis from iFIT. Adjustable sockets are fit early and accommodate all limb changes versus conventional sockets which are fit after limb “matures”. Start rehabilitation as soon as possible, so your patients can return to doing things they enjoy! This award honors a member who has achieved distinction and peer recognition regionally or nationally by virtue of excellence as a teacher, researcher and/or administrator.
Dr. Dillingham's innovative work in advancing the field of lower limb prosthetics was one important reason he received this prestigious award. Dr. Dillingham will be presented this award at the AAP Annual Meeting this week. We’re pleased to introduce our Account Executive, Ingram Dillingham. A Message from Ingram:
Since 2019, I have been actively engaged with iFIT Prosthetics through a series of internships, where I gained hands-on experience in the biomechanics and functionality of these adjustable prosthetic devices. During my time with iFIT, while still in college, I was exposed to both the technical and interpersonal aspects of prosthetics, guided by seasoned mentors. This experience furthered my knowledge in device fabrication, fitting, and underscored the importance of personalized patient centered care. I transitioned into the role of Account Executive last year. It is exciting to work with prosthetists as they formulate the best care plan for their patients--assisting with the proper sizing and other clinically important issues such as cost and the patient's functional levels. In this capacity, I work closely with these professionals to understand and help meet the unique needs of their most complex patients. My focus is on delivering innovative, customized solutions that empower patients to achieve their best outomes. I strive to enhance the well-being and prosthetic experience of individuals with limb loss and limb differences. A comfortable and adjustable iFIT prosthesis can greatly facilitate a person's journey to recovery. Adjustability on the go with iFIT!
Give your patients the freedom and mobility they deserve.

Dr. Timothy Dillingham will be speaking about his experience in Botswana at the Walter Reed Medical Center as part of their State of the Science Symposium on "Global Health Engagement".
During this lecture, Dr. Dillingham will elaborate on his experience in Botswana where he fit 17 persons in 7 days in using the immediate fit iFIT prosthesis. As the World Health Organization cites that 75% of persons with disability are lacking an orthotic or prosthetic device, he will touch on how the iFIT prosthesis can help bridge this gap and serve those in need globally. The lecture is schedule for February 10, 2023. Time is TBD. Some of the main reasons include:
Forget the wait—iFIT systems are designed for on-the-go lifestyles,
and prosthetists are amazed at its levels of customizability. Aligned in one session and adjusted easily. Orthotic and prosthetic facilities are struggling to hire workers,
leading some companies to reconsider their structures and try new ways to retain staff. iFIT can help by saving prosthetists and patients time and visits.
